Monitor

Bulk import

Add dozens or hundreds of domains and IPs in one step. Each new asset gets the same automatic blacklist scan as a manual add.

When to use bulk import

  • Onboarding a new client with a large domain portfolio
  • Migrating from a spreadsheet you already maintain
  • Adding a batch of dedicated IPs after infrastructure changes

Supported file formats

  • CSV: one value per row, optional header row value
  • Excel: .xlsx or .xls
  • Plain text: one domain or IP per line (.txt)
  • TSV: tab-separated values

Maximum file size is 10 MB. Lines starting with # are treated as comments and ignored.

Step-by-step

  1. Open Monitor and click Bulk import.
  2. Download a sample file if you need a template, or paste/type values directly into the text box.
  3. Upload your file or paste values. SenderSignal parses each line and detects:
    • Domains and subdomains
    • IPv4 addresses
    • Email-shaped entries (extracts the domain portion)
  4. Review the preview: total rows, new vs duplicate, breakdown by type. Duplicates already in your workspace are skipped (they are not re-imported).
  5. Confirm import. Processing runs in the background so you can keep working. A job indicator appears while import is in progress.
  6. When complete, every new asset receives an automatic initial blacklist scan, same as manual add.

What we store from your file

Only the domain or IP value is imported. Comment lines, extra columns, and file metadata are discarded. Your upload file is not retained after parsing.

Plan limits

If the import would exceed your asset limit, new rows stop at the cap and you will see how many were skipped. Upgrade your plan or remove unused assets, then import the remainder.

Tips for clean imports

  • Normalize values first: no http://, no trailing dots.
  • One asset per line keeps parsing predictable.
  • Run a small test file (5–10 rows) before importing thousands.
