The MailerLite playbook

MailerLite sends the campaigns. Your domain still has to earn the inbox.

MailerLite approves new accounts and its deliverability team warms dedicated IPs for high-volume senders, but nothing in the account warms a new sending domain. Keep your campaigns and automations exactly where they are. Add your brand domain here and we build its reputation while MailerLite keeps sending.

The MailerLite playbook

Keep sending from MailerLite. Warm the domain here.

Step 1

Authenticate your sending domain in MailerLite

You can send your first campaigns during the trial without it, but after the trial MailerLite requires an authenticated domain to keep sending campaigns. It takes a DKIM CNAME, an SPF TXT and a verification TXT record, copied exactly from the account; on Cloudflare, leave the DKIM CNAME unproxied. Public domains such as Gmail cannot be authenticated.

Step 2

Know what MailerLite handles, and what it does not

MailerLite reviews new accounts before approving them, and for high-volume senders with an authenticated domain its deliverability team enables and warms a dedicated IP. A newly authenticated sending domain is different: nothing in MailerLite ramps it, so its reputation is yours to build.

Step 3

Add your brand domain to Inbox Boost

Use the domain in your From address, such as yourbrand.com. The DKIM and SPF records you added in MailerLite stay as they are. We set up what the domain needs and build its sender reputation for you. Nothing to connect to MailerLite: no API key, no app, no change to your account.

Step 4

Keep every campaign and automation running in MailerLite

Newsletters, welcome automations, product launches: all of it stays in MailerLite. Mailbox providers score the domain in your From address, so the reputation built here counts for every MailerLite send from yourbrand.com.

Step 5

Check where MailerLite mail lands

Inbox placement tests show whether your campaigns reach Primary, Promotions or Spam across the major mailbox providers, and blacklist monitoring keeps watching the domain once it is warm.

  • Nothing to connect: no MailerLite API key, app or integration
  • Nothing to change: groups, automations and templates stay exactly as they are
  • Shared or dedicated IP: it works either way, because the reputation belongs to the domain
  • Watched after warmup: blacklist and authentication monitoring on your brand domain

Questions

MailerLite questions, answered.

Does Inbox Boost connect to my MailerLite account?
No. There is no API key, app or integration to install. Inbox Boost works on your brand domain, and MailerLite keeps sending your campaigns and automations exactly as it does now.
MailerLite warms dedicated IPs. Why warm the domain too?
MailerLite’s deliverability team warms dedicated IPs for approved high-volume senders. Your sending domain carries its own reputation with Gmail, Outlook and Yahoo, and nothing in MailerLite warms a new one, whether you are on a dedicated IP or not.
I am on MailerLite’s shared IPs. Does this still help?
Yes. On shared IPs the IP reputation is pooled with other MailerLite senders, so the domain is the reputation that is actually yours. Building it here helps every campaign MailerLite sends from it.
Do I need to authenticate my domain in MailerLite first?
Yes. After the trial, MailerLite requires an authenticated domain to keep sending campaigns, and public domains such as Gmail cannot be authenticated. Authenticate the domain in MailerLite, then add your brand domain, the one in your From address, here.
Can I see whether it is working?
Yes. Inbox placement tests show where your MailerLite mail lands, Primary, Promotions or Spam, across the major mailbox providers, and blacklist monitoring keeps watching the domain afterwards.
