The Brevo playbook

Brevo sends the campaigns. Your domain still has to earn the inbox.

Brevo manages its shared IP pools and can warm a dedicated IP for you automatically, but that warm-up is for the IP, not for a new sending domain. Keep your campaigns and automations exactly where they are. Add your brand domain here and we build its reputation while Brevo keeps sending.

The Brevo playbook

Keep sending from Brevo. Warm the domain here.

Step 1

Authenticate your domain in Brevo

Until you do, Brevo temporarily replaces your sender with an address on brevosend.com, a stopgap it warns recipients may not recognize. Authentication takes a Brevo code record, DKIM as one TXT or two CNAME records, and a DMARC record. On Cloudflare, turn off CNAME flattening and proxying or DKIM fails.

Step 2

Know what Brevo warms, and what it does not

Brevo manages the reputation of its shared IP pools. On a dedicated IP, its automatic warm-up keeps sending through shared IPs while gradually moving traffic over. That warm-up is for the IP only: on shared IPs or dedicated, nothing in Brevo warms a new sending domain.

Step 3

Add your brand domain to Inbox Boost

Use the domain in your From address, such as yourbrand.com. Any sending subdomain you set up for Brevo stays with Brevo. We set up what the domain needs and build its sender reputation for you. Nothing to connect to Brevo: no API key, no app, no change to your account.

Step 4

Keep every campaign and automation running in Brevo

Newsletters, welcome automations, promotional campaigns: all of it stays in Brevo. Mailbox providers score the domain in your From address, so the reputation built here counts for every Brevo send from yourbrand.com.

Step 5

Check where Brevo mail lands

Inbox placement tests show whether your campaigns reach Primary, Promotions or Spam across the major mailbox providers, and blacklist monitoring keeps watching the domain once it is warm.

  • Nothing to connect: no Brevo API key, app or integration
  • Nothing to change: lists, automations and templates stay exactly as they are
  • Shared or dedicated IP: it works either way, because the reputation belongs to the domain
  • Watched after warmup: blacklist and authentication monitoring on your brand domain

Questions

Brevo questions, answered.

Does Inbox Boost connect to my Brevo account?
No. There is no API key, app or integration to install. Inbox Boost works on your brand domain, and Brevo keeps sending your campaigns and automations exactly as it does now.
Brevo already warms dedicated IPs. Why warm the domain too?
Brevo’s automatic warm-up gradually moves traffic from its shared IPs onto your dedicated IP until mailbox providers trust that IP. Your sending domain carries its own reputation with Gmail, Outlook and Yahoo, and the IP warm-up does not build it.
I am on Brevo’s shared IPs. Does this still help?
Yes. On shared IPs the IP reputation is pooled with other Brevo senders, so the domain is the reputation that is actually yours. Building it here helps every campaign Brevo sends from it.
Do I need to authenticate my domain in Brevo first?
We recommend it. Without it, Brevo replaces your sender with a brevosend.com address, so the reputation your mail earns is not tied to your brand. Authenticate the domain in Brevo, then add your brand domain, the one in your From address, here.
Can I see whether it is working?
Yes. Inbox placement tests show where your Brevo mail lands, Primary, Promotions or Spam, across the major mailbox providers, and blacklist monitoring keeps watching the domain afterwards.
