The Zoho playbook

Zoho looks after its IPs. Your domain is yours to warm.

Zoho Campaigns watches the reputation of its shared IPs and moves accounts off any IP that gets into trouble. A new sender domain is different: Zoho recommends warming it before large sends and may hold a campaign that mails a big list from it. Keep your campaigns and CRM email exactly where they are. Add the domain here and we build its reputation while Zoho keeps sending.

The Zoho playbook

Keep sending from Zoho. Warm the domain here.

Step 1

Authenticate your sender domain in Zoho

Until you do, Zoho Campaigns sends your campaigns from zcsend.net, and Zoho CRM replaces an unauthenticated From address with its own authenticated domains. Authentication uses SPF and DKIM TXT records plus DMARC, and each subdomain is authenticated separately.

Step 2

Know what Zoho manages, and what it leaves to you

Zoho groups accounts on its shared IPs, monitors them and moves you to a healthier IP if yours is affected. There is no warmup for a new sender domain: Zoho recommends increasing volume gradually before large sends, and a dedicated IP has to be warmed by you too.

Step 3

Add your brand domain to Inbox Boost

Use the domain in your From address, yourbrand.com. Any sender subdomain you authenticate in Zoho stays with Zoho. We set up what it needs and build its sender reputation. Nothing to connect to Zoho: no API key, no extension, no change to your account.

Step 4

Keep every campaign and CRM email running in Zoho

Campaigns, autoresponders and mass email from Zoho CRM: all of it stays in Zoho. Mailbox providers score the domain in your From address, so the reputation built here counts for every Zoho send from yourbrand.com.

Step 5

Check where Zoho mail lands

Inbox placement tests show whether your campaigns reach Primary, Promotions or Spam across the major mailbox providers, and blacklist monitoring keeps watching the domain once it is warm.

  • Nothing to connect: no Zoho API key, extension or integration
  • Nothing to change: lists, campaigns and CRM templates stay exactly as they are
  • Campaigns and CRM alike: the reputation belongs to the domain, whichever Zoho product sends
  • Watched after warmup: blacklist and authentication monitoring on your brand domain

Questions

Zoho questions, answered.

Does Inbox Boost connect to my Zoho account?
No. There is no API key, extension or integration to install. Inbox Boost works on your brand domain, and Zoho keeps sending your campaigns and CRM email exactly as it does now.
Zoho already manages IP reputation. Why warm the domain?
Zoho looks after its shared IPs: it monitors them and moves accounts away from an affected IP. Your sender domain carries its own reputation with Gmail, Outlook and Yahoo wherever it sends from, and Zoho itself advises against bulk campaigns from a newly created sender domain.
I send mass email from Zoho CRM. Does this help there too?
Yes. Zoho CRM sends mass email from Zoho’s servers using your authenticated domain, so the reputation built here counts for it too. Zoho CRM requires DKIM for a custom domain, and a domain authenticated in another Zoho product carries over.
I have a dedicated IP from Zoho. Does this still help?
Yes. Zoho says a new dedicated IP has to be warmed by you before bulk campaigns, and that warming is about the IP. The domain carries its own reputation, so building it here helps whichever IP Zoho sends from.
Can I see whether it is working?
Yes. Inbox placement tests show where your Zoho mail lands, Primary, Promotions or Spam, across the major mailbox providers, and blacklist monitoring keeps watching the domain afterwards.
