The Pipedrive playbook

Pipedrive sends the campaigns. Your domain still has to earn the inbox.

Pipedrive keeps its shared Campaigns infrastructure healthy with account reviews and compliance checks, and lets you authenticate your own domain. Warming that domain is not part of it. Keep your campaigns and deals exactly where they are. Add the domain here and we build its reputation while Pipedrive keeps sending.

The Pipedrive playbook

Keep sending from Pipedrive. Warm the domain here.

Step 1

Authenticate your domain in Pipedrive Campaigns

Authentication is optional in Pipedrive, but without it recipients that enforce a DMARC quarantine or reject policy may junk or block your campaigns. It takes CNAME records for SPF, return path and DKIM, a DMARC TXT record, and a verified sender email on the domain.

Step 2

Know what Pipedrive checks, and what it leaves to you

Pipedrive protects its shared infrastructure with account reviews: once you have mailed a certain number of unique contacts, new campaigns pause until the review is done, and reviews come back as the list grows. There is no warmup for a new domain.

Step 3

Add your brand domain to Inbox Boost

Use the domain in your From address, yourbrand.com. The return-path and DKIM CNAMEs Pipedrive has you add stay with Pipedrive. We set up what it needs and build its sender reputation. Nothing to connect to Pipedrive: no API key, no Marketplace app, no change to your account.

Step 4

Keep every campaign running in Pipedrive

Newsletters and campaigns stay in Pipedrive, and so does the sales email your team sends through synced mailboxes. Mailbox providers score the domain in your From address, so the reputation built here counts for every Pipedrive campaign and sales email from yourbrand.com.

Step 5

Check where Pipedrive mail lands

Inbox placement tests show whether your campaigns reach Primary, Promotions or Spam across the major mailbox providers, and blacklist monitoring keeps watching the domain once it is warm.

  • Nothing to connect: no Pipedrive API key, Marketplace app or integration
  • Nothing to change: deals, contacts and campaigns stay exactly as they are
  • Campaigns and sales email: the reputation belongs to the domain, whichever route the mail takes
  • Watched after warmup: blacklist and authentication monitoring on your brand domain
See it play out

A Pipedrive domain, warmed without pausing a single send.

Four checkpoints, in order. Click any step or let it play.

Questions

Pipedrive questions, answered.

Does Inbox Boost connect to my Pipedrive account?
No. There is no API key, Marketplace app or integration to install. Inbox Boost works on your brand domain, and Pipedrive keeps sending your campaigns exactly as it does now.
Is domain authentication required in Pipedrive?
Pipedrive treats it as optional but recommends it before you run campaigns, especially if your domain has a DMARC policy. Without it, recipients that enforce quarantine or reject may junk or block your campaigns. Authenticate the domain in Pipedrive first, then add your brand domain here.
Pipedrive Campaigns runs on shared infrastructure. Does this still help?
Yes. The sending infrastructure is shared with other Pipedrive customers, so the domain is the reputation that is actually yours. Building it here helps every campaign Pipedrive sends from it.
What about email my reps send from Pipedrive?
Everyday sales email goes through each user’s synced Gmail, Outlook, Exchange or IMAP account, so that provider’s own sending limits apply. If those addresses are on your brand domain, the reputation built here counts for that mail too.
Can I see whether it is working?
Yes. Inbox placement tests show where your Pipedrive mail lands, Primary, Promotions or Spam, across the major mailbox providers, and blacklist monitoring keeps watching the domain afterwards.
