The GoHighLevel playbook

GoHighLevel paces the volume. Your domain still has to earn the inbox.

GoHighLevel’s LC Email gives a new dedicated sending domain a staged warmup, so it does not jump straight to full volume. The stages set how much the domain sends; its reputation comes from how mailbox providers treat that mail. Keep your campaigns and workflows exactly where they are. Add the domain here and we build its reputation while GoHighLevel keeps sending.

The GoHighLevel playbook

Keep sending from GoHighLevel. Warm the domain here.

Step 1

Give each sub-account a dedicated sending domain

Without one, a sub-account sends on GoHighLevel’s shared domain: its address is rewritten through mg.msgsndr.com and its reputation is pooled with the other sub-accounts. GoHighLevel recommends a unique subdomain, such as mg.yourbrand.com, used for nothing else: adding its MX records to a root domain that already receives mail breaks that mail.

Step 2

Know what GoHighLevel’s warmup does

A new dedicated domain starts its fixed-stage warmup after verification and moves up a stage only once it meets the current stage’s daily volume. The stages are advisory for now, and GoHighLevel itself warns that raising volume too quickly can hurt reputation even when the platform allows the sends.

Step 3

Add your brand domain to Inbox Boost

Use the domain in your From address, yourbrand.com. The dedicated sending subdomain, such as mg.yourbrand.com, stays with GoHighLevel. We set up what it needs and build its sender reputation. Nothing to connect to GoHighLevel: no API key, no app, no change to the agency or the sub-account.

Step 4

Keep every campaign and workflow running in GoHighLevel

Bulk campaigns, workflow emails, one-to-one replies: all of it stays in GoHighLevel. Mailbox providers score the domain in your From address, so the reputation built here counts for every GoHighLevel send from yourbrand.com.

Step 5

Check where client mail lands

Inbox placement tests show whether each client’s campaigns reach Primary, Promotions or Spam across the major mailbox providers, and blacklist monitoring keeps watching the domain once it is warm.

  • Nothing to connect: no GoHighLevel API key, app or integration
  • Nothing to change: campaigns, workflows and sub-account settings stay exactly as they are
  • Alongside the stages: GoHighLevel paces the volume, and the reputation belongs to the domain
  • Watched after warmup: blacklist and authentication monitoring on your brand domain

Questions

GoHighLevel questions, answered.

Does Inbox Boost connect to GoHighLevel?
No. There is no API key, app or integration to install, at the agency or in any sub-account. Inbox Boost works on your brand domain, and GoHighLevel keeps sending your campaigns and workflows exactly as it does now.
GoHighLevel already warms new domains. Why add Inbox Boost?
GoHighLevel’s fixed-stage warmup sets how much a new dedicated domain should send and moves it up once it meets each stage. It counts only the mail sent through that domain, and its thresholds are advisory for now. The reputation itself comes from how Gmail, Outlook and Yahoo treat the domain’s mail, and that is what we build alongside the stages.
A sub-account still uses the shared domain. Does this help?
Set up a dedicated sending domain first. On GoHighLevel’s shared domain the sending address is rewritten through mg.msgsndr.com and the reputation is pooled across sub-accounts, so there is no domain of yours to build. Once the sub-account sends from its own subdomain, add your brand domain, the one in its From address, here; the sending subdomain stays with GoHighLevel.
I run an agency. How does this work across clients?
A dedicated sending domain takes a client’s mail off the shared domain and its pooled reputation. Add the client’s brand domain, the one in their From address, here and its reputation builds for everything that sub-account sends from it, without touching the agency account or any other sub-account.
Can I see whether it is working?
Yes. Inbox placement tests show where your GoHighLevel mail lands, Primary, Promotions or Spam, across the major mailbox providers, and blacklist monitoring keeps watching the domain afterwards.
