WooCommerce sends the order mail. Your domain still has to earn the inbox.
WooCommerce does not deliver email itself: by default WordPress hands it to your web host, and WooCommerce recommends an SMTP provider instead. Whoever delivers it, the domain carries the reputation. Get it authenticated, keep your store exactly as it is, and add the domain here so we build its reputation while WooCommerce keeps sending.
Keep sending from WooCommerce. Warm the domain here.
Find out who delivers your store’s email
By default WooCommerce sends with wp_mail(), and WordPress hands the message to PHP and the web host’s own mail server. WooCommerce says shared and virtual hosting are typically not optimal for email and recommends an SMTP provider, usually set up with a plugin such as WP Mail SMTP or MailPoet.
Authenticate the domain for that sender
WooCommerce publishes no DNS records of its own. If your host delivers the mail, confirm with its support that store email is authenticated with SPF, DKIM and DMARC; with an SMTP plugin, follow its domain authentication steps. Keep the From address on your own domain: WooCommerce says mail from Gmail or Yahoo addresses will very likely be marked as spam.
Add your brand domain to Inbox Boost
Use the domain in your From address, yourstore.com. We set up what it needs and build its sender reputation. Nothing to connect to WooCommerce: no API key, no plugin, no change to your store.
Keep order email and marketing running
Order confirmations, account emails and the newsletters you send through MailPoet, Klaviyo or another integration: all of it stays where it is. Mailbox providers score the domain in your From address, so the reputation built here counts for every WooCommerce send from yourstore.com, whichever host or provider delivers it.
Check where WooCommerce mail lands
Inbox placement tests show whether your order email and newsletters reach Primary, Promotions or Spam across the major mailbox providers, and blacklist monitoring keeps watching the domain once it is warm.
- Nothing to connect: no WordPress plugin, API key or admin login
- Nothing to change: your host, SMTP plugin and email templates stay as they are
- Web host or SMTP provider: it works either way, because the reputation belongs to the domain
- Watched after warmup: blacklist and authentication monitoring on your brand domain
